Verdict

Mr Rumbalicious never reached a place on the Flat and was well beaten on his hurdling debut at Ludlow. PERSEUS WAY scored on the Flat at Newbury in September and made an excellent start over timber in the Grade 2 Triumph Hurdle Trial at Cheltenham when runner-up to Scriptwriter despite a moderate round of jumping. The winner's yard is represented by hurdling newcomer Polyphonic, successful on the level for Karl Burke. Three-times all-weather winner Vaxholm was beaten 44 lengths on his debut over timber at Warwick but Fillyfudge ran well for a long way on her hurdling bow here a couple of weeks ago.
