Verdict

UK raiders have won this five times in seven renewals and Clive Cox, who won it last year with Gilt Edge Girl, is represented by Capercaillie, who will need to find more than she has been producing at this level. She did, however, have Beyond Desire just behind at Nottingham last month though the latter was returning after a long break and is expected to reverse the form. INVINCIBLE ASH ended last season in outstanding form and continued in the same vein when sent to Dubai earlier this year. Her latest run when less than two lengths behind J J The Jetplane in a Group 2 was a superb effort and that would be good enough for this. Sing Softly is an obvious threat as she has run two fine races at this level at Newmarket and the Curragh though she may have to battle for the lead with Timeless Call, who showed a blistering turn of foot to make all at Cork.
