In depth

Verdict

Three-year-olds have a shocking record in this and Words Of Wisdom, who appears the best of the bunch, will need to improve again to get involved. An Mhi couldn't carry his penalty for a victory at Tipperary when sent to Listowel five days later but the much softer ground may have been responsible and conditions will be in his favour tonight. Silly Dancer is as consistent as ever but hasn't won for a very long time. He should be thereabouts again as should the lightly-raced Imagination, who was having her first start on turf when producing a decent effort over this C&D last month though she finished behind ROCK ON CIARA. Joseph Murphy's mare had been raised 8lb for her earlier victory at Killarney and though unable to cope with Manaaqeb ran well enough to get back on the winning trail.
