Verdict

Tullyallen showed that this sort of trip on heavy going is just what's required when storming away with a Cork maiden at the end of last month and his guaranteed fitness should be a bonus in this ground. CHRISTOPHER ROBIN (NAP) cost 400,000gns and is bred to be a middle-distance performer. He didn't come up to expectations in his first season but this is much more his trip and he can get off the mark. Cimeara made a successful debut on heavy going at Gowran and didn't look anywhere near his best when last in a Group 3 here in October but Crecerelle will need to improve on what he's shown to date. Machiavelli should do better over middle-distances this campaign and could be on a nice mark for his handicap debut.
