PATH OF SILVER won three times last summer and is just 3lb higher than her latest winning mark so can return action with another success. Thiswaycadeaux made good progress to land a Fairyhouse maiden on heavy going so conditions are in her favour while Hasselnott has been given a chance by the assessor who has dropped him 5lb despite a couple of good runs in October following his earlier Gowran victory. Latchet hasn't won in 11 starts though is on a fair mark as a consequence but, in a wide-open handicap, it's his stable companion Cashless who may prove more of a threat as he'll be better for last month's run at Dundalk and can't get any lower in the ratings.
