Verdict

SPANISH POINT looks to have been found a good opportunity to get off the mark. The son of Frankel had three starts on testing ground last season and made his reappearance in the 2,000 Guineas at the Curragh where he finished a long way last. Dawn Trouper makes a quick return to action after his placed effort behind Victory Salute at Cork on Sunday where he didn't quite last home over the 1m2f trip so he should get into the action. Rockabill was staying on nicely over 1m2f at the Curragh so it's a surprise to see him dropping back in trip but Bright Eyed is one to keep an eye on as she's a sister to a smart winning miler and half-sister to two other decent winners. The latter's stable also run Hasimiyya, who wasn't suited by heavy ground at the Curragh and is expected to do better.
