    Verdict

From an original entry of ten, Aidan O'Brien has chosen Even Song and Prefer. The former, a half-sister to Simply Verse and other winners, caught the eye in no uncertain terms at Dundalk when making late ground after a slow start and should prove better at this stage than her stablemate, who is a half-sister to a host of useful winners. NUDGE made a very encouraging debut at Gowran last month when a close third behind two smart performers who have since finished first and third in a Listed contest. Dermot Weld's filly looks a nice prospect and will take some beating. Typique, from last year's winning yard, showed potential in that latter race and being by Galileo should have come on plenty for the experience. Jim Bolger runs Runmhar, who has a smart pedigree and is another to note in what should prove an informative maiden.
