Verdict

This has been run five times and three-year-olds have won three of them. That bodes well for the chances of Prospector, who stayed on stoutly to score over 1m2f at Navan and Aidan O'Brien's grey will appreciate the longer trip. Acid was well beaten on her only start over the trip though that was on testing ground while Whatsforuwontgobyu will have no problems staying though has a huge weight to contend with. Gelenschik disappointed on her handicap debut after an easy maiden success at Killarney while Crown Pleasure has been beaten over hurdles since landing a minor handicap at Wexford. Annadiamond has also struggled over timber since beating a big field over this trip at Cork so the vote goes to SIR RASTON (NAP). Dermot Weld's charge was having only his sixth start and his second since April when overcoming a poor draw to finish a close fourth over 1m2f at Navan where he was going on strongly at the finish.
