Verdict

Only two previous winners in this field including Thegondolier, who picked up a claiming race at Sligo back in August but has since been well beaten by PORT ELIZABETH. The latter finally got off the mark over 7f at the Curragh last time and David Wachman's filly should handle the expected quicker ground today. Suspect Device, Hangar Five, Mariner's Dream and Tower Hill Gate were all behind the selection at the Curragh and look up against it, but Ceist Nua ran her best race to date when beating three of these rivals to finish runner-up at Sligo last month and has to be considered along with the less exposed Baiadilla Beach.
