Vesper Bell landed a Fairyhouse bumper on heavy ground in February and ran well enough in quicker conditions at Punchestown in May to suggest he'll do well over timber. Shrapnel was very disappointing when strongly fancied over 2m7f at Thurles and the testing ground could have been against him, while Carrig Millie also disappointed in similar conditions at Punchestown and is better judged on earlier efforts on quicker ground. Vapiano has joined Gordon Elliott after one run for Willie Mullins and looks the type to make progress but STAR NEUVILLE was unfortunate to come up against the Mullins' hotpot Toostrong at Fairyhouse and, as the remainder were well beaten off, the form looks strong enough for him to go one better.
