In depth

Verdict

Manuka has been in consistent form on the Flat and over hurdles though he's 8lb higher than his victory at Bellewstown earlier this month. SIR JACK YEATS (NAP) also scored at that same fixture on his handicap debut. He's been raised 5lb but is still learning and time may tell he is better than his rating of 97 suggests so he can complete a double. Sounds Of Thunder, who was a long way behind Manuka at Bellewstown, has since run much better at Kilbeggan when headed in the closing stages by Oisin James so she can get into the action along with Jamie Codd's mount Misdflight, who was disqualified after finishing first at Down Royal in May.
