        Verdict

        Mark Tompkins' string is in a rich vein of form and it's difficult to look beyond his all-the-way recent course and distance winner BLUE BOUNTY (NAP) in this. He has the plum draw and should be capable of further progress now he's got his head in front. Ask The Guru is running into form and both all-weather wins have come over track and trip. He looks more of a danger than More Spice, disappointing when favourite behind Secret Millionaire at Wolverhampton and now blinkered. The latter looks held by the selection on collateral form while Johnny Splash, Picansort and Roy's Legacy have been out of sorts lately.
