Verdict

Conqueress wasn't beaten far in any of her first four starts before landing a maiden over the course and distance in October. She will have needed her recent run on her handicap debut at Newmarket and a 2lb drop in the ratings will help though a wide draw looks problematic. Porto Ferro won a 6f Polytrack maiden here in February though was well beaten when tackling this trip at Yarmouth in April but Tonahutu won over the trip at Chelmsford and could give a good account if ready after a long break. Always Thankful has been showing good speed over 6f and tackles this trip for the first time while Chicago Star ran her best race to date at Carlisle last time and has the inside berth. TIGERFISH has more experience than most of these and has won twice over the trip on Polytrack here. She ran quite well at Leicester last month and gets the nod in a very moderate handicap.
