        Verdict

        Local Spirit, Moonlight Music and Satin Doll are three against the field in this maiden and the vote is given to Local Spirit. The selection was a fair third behind Third Set.That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and in what looks an easier affair he will be hard to beat. Moonlight Music rates the main danger on his latest fifth behind Postage Stampe. Satin Doll is well bred but has not progressed as expected so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Maseem is a well bred type and should be monitored in the market but his stable are not renowned for first time out winners and with this in mind for the winner we return to Local Spirit.
