      Verdict

Caspian Prince should figure again having won over 5f at Newcastle last month when ahead of Intisaab and Gracious John but the latter was only fourth in last year’s renewal behind LANCELOT DU LAC (NAP). Dean Ivory’s charge made a winning reappearance last year before beating Mythmaker in this and also went on to land the Stewards’ Cup at Goodwood. He gets the nod to make another bold bid. Intisaab beat Gulliver, Double Up, Kimberella and Mythmaker at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day while Kachy made a winning reappearance in a handicap over track and trip last month. Royal Birth has a bit to find with a couple of these but Ice Age showed good progress last year winning four times on Turf while Princess Asta is a Listed winner in Germany but hard to assess on that form.
