Several hold chances here, so only a tentative nomination goes to Miss Malone, who edges preference from Storm Chase and Sound That Alarm, who both arrive here in good heart. Manic is another with claims on the pick of her efforts and well treated in comparison to her All Weather form. She went close at Nottingham on Tuesday and cannot be ruled of at least making the frame if running up to that level here. Sound That Alarm did not always enjoy the best of fortune when he was trained by Gerard Butler but came good in a claimer at bath last time. Phillip Mitchell was obviously impressed and shelled out the ¿12,000 asking price post race. However, this ground may be a little faster than he cares for so any rain will not go amiss for him. Storm Chase has been the subject of solid support on numerous occasions this term. He has experience of the artificial surface here and is open to improvement. Still, he is proving to be expensive to follow and needs everything to drop just right for him. Therefore, we take a chance with Miss Malone, who is likely to be available at slightly more attractive odds. Fast ground ideally suits this daughter of Daggers Drawn and, as she is thriving on her racing at the present time, this looks the ideally time for Miss Malone to shine.
