        Verdict

        Westland has scope and can return with a bang over Lady Georgina, Presumptive and Lord Links. Westland had two runs as a juvenile and struck gold on the second occasion when defeating Stage School at Yarmouth in November. That was on rain-softened ground so the son of Cozzene will handle today's conditions. Stage School has already been out this season, having won one and lost one, so the form may not be rock solid, but Westland can still pay to follow, especially when put into handicaps. Lady Georgina was fancied on more than one occasion last term, and has reportedly been working well at home. Trip and ground will suit James Fanshawe's filly so she is on the short-list as well. Presumptive was always held by Thurlestone Rock on his reappearance at Windsor but will come on for the run, as will Lord Links, second to Flint River in a big field at Kempton on his return. Border Music, General Feeling and Digital are all exposed, and for the winner we return to the younger Westland.
