        Verdict

        Menai failed to land the odds in a similar event at Salisbury last time when only managing third behind runner-up CATCHMENT. The latter is taken to confirm running in this and open her account. Canford Lilli has a chance on these terms but her handicap rating is based on last year’s form and she has shown nothing so far this year. However, Manshood ran better at Newmarket on his debut than his finishing position suggests and this shorter trip should suit.
