Verdict

FLOWERS ON VENUS won a tougher claimer than this over 7f here last month and has won over this shorter trip before. Tom Dascombe’s charge looks the one to beat once again on these terms. Burning Thread has been thereabouts over 5f recently but has plenty to find at the weights with the selection as does Fairway To Heaven, a runner-up at Kempton on his penultimate start. The remainder are facing even tougher tasks and will do well to get involved.
