Not a race that will take much winning and this appears a good opportunity for St Austell to open his account while Somethingabouther, Maddie's A Jem and Singularity looks best of the remainder. Jamie Toller's charge was outclassed in a valuable sprint handicap at York last month but confirmed that a race of this nature is well within his compass when chasing home a fair sort in a Folkestone maiden last time and a reproduction should suffice against some moderate rivals. Somethingabouther ran respectably to be placed in sprint handicaps earlier in the season but was well below her best last time and has something to find with the selection on these terms whileMaddie's A Jem will be sharper for her recent seasonal return and has place claims. Singularity was disappointing last time but is not without pace and may be better served by the switch back to this trip so can't be ruled out with confidence.
