Nouvelle Nova has been the subject of some encouraging reports and should be watched in the market ahead of his debut, however the nod goes to Lavender And Lace ahead of Red Icon and Insaaf. The selection comes from a stable who's juveniles often improve dramatically for their first runs and this daughter of Barathea was unfancied on her debut when starting a 50/1 chance. The race displayed why she was such a price trailing in well down the field but if the market speaks in her favour today then better can surely be expected. We may not see the best of here until over further next year but she is fancied to get off the mark today. There are plenty of interesting newcomers, perhaps most notably Insaaf. She comes from a stable who can get one ready first time out however Richard Hills may not be too hard on her first time up so she is therefore passed over. Ralph Beckett saddles Red Icon who is related to several winners in France, whilst Riverscape and Vallani need a check in the betting. Exodia and Blue Rhapsody both need to step up on their form showed so far, and so we will return to Lavender And Lace for the winner.
