        Verdict

        Zefferino returned a losing favourite in two of last year’s three outings, though should be winning at this level sooner rather than later. But a race-fit MR TYRRELL is preferred today as he’s been placed in both starts this year, including a second on the all-weather course here last time to a subsequent handicap winner. The older horses make no appeal on what little they have shown so far but the newcomer Noble Masterpiece cost 170,000gns and is worth noting in the betting representing the Stoute yard.
