In depth

Verdict

Scott gets the confident vote here with Ocean Rock and Considine rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair third behind Edgehill last time out. That form has since been given a boost and from a good draw and off the same mark here he is hard to oppose. Ocean Rock rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Emerald Dancer but he has a penalty for that win and this looks more competitive, so he is opposable on that basis. Considine is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Bendarshaan but he is not proven on this surface. Montosari has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but he has shown very little of late so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder, Chocolate Boy looks sure to have the race run to suit and is from a shrewd yard so should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Scott who looks sure to run well.
