With some interesting newcomers it is hard to be dogmatic in naming the winner, so watch the betting, but we will side with Broken Spur, with Cool Sting, Davidia, Dubai Typhoon, Galaxy Bound, Master At Arms and Missouri among others that are of interest. Broken Spur's second to Art Market at Windsor last time reads solidly in the context of this race and he is respected, as is Cool Sting for similar reasons. Davidia got the hang of things late on at Doncaster last time and should improve today, while Dubai Typhoon, a half-brother to the 1,000 Guineas winner Sayyedati, the Godolphin representative, Faith And Reason, and the Brian Meehan-trained Manston can surely build on their debut runs. The 130,000 guineas purchase Galaxy Bound catches the eye on breeding, while, on jockey bookings, Manouche looks the stronger of the two John Dunlop entries. Having cost 60,000 guineas, Master At Arms is another catch the eye on breeding, while Shannon House is related to winners, but was fairly cheaply acquired and Royal Agreement did not show too much on his debut. Finally, Sir Michael Stoute's Missouri has to be borne in mind, and the only filly in the line-up, Innocent Air has plenty to like on breeding, being a Galileo half-sister to some decent performers. However, for the selection, we will stick with Broken Spur.
