        Verdict

In the fillies' handicap, we will side with Kryssa, with her biggest dangers suggested as Summerise, Miss Pebbles and Celtique, Kryssa comes here in good heart and might even have benefited from a stronger pace here last time, when she finished a fair third. Dropped three pounds in the ratings on the back of that, she still looks very competitively weighted and can go well. In Good Faith won on the Flat in France before joining Nicky Henderson to go hurdling. Given the trainer's good record with his Flat runners, she could go well. Summerise has been running consistently, and, even though she has been raised another three pounds for getting beaten last time, can go well, while Miss Pebbles is dropping to a more reasonable mark and, if recapturing her best, could also play a part. Marchetta has something to prove on her all-weather debut following her Newbury defeat, while being dropped five pounds for her latest effort will help Celtique's cause and she has gone well here in the past. Gulchina is trying a new trip but lacks a recent run, while Piquet is a course and distance winner, but has not from a mark as high as today's. Finally, Desert Secrets is beginning to improve, but maybe a place is the best she can hope for, and it would be hard to build a strong case for Lojo. This returns us to the selection, which is Kryssa.
