    Verdict

Benjamin has a 6lb pull for one-and-a-quarter lengths on running with Cumbrian Princess over course and distance in similar company last week and is fancied to reverse the form on the revised terms. The selection is still a maiden after 18 starts but Jane Southcombe's gelding may well get an uncontested lead today and could slip the field. Cumbrian Princess has won her last two starts and has to be respected but has more to do under her penalty today. Both fillies hold Gary Moore's Due To Me on running last week and of more interest among the remainder may be Simon Dow's Hektikos who takes a big drop in class. Lady Liesel looks fully exposed now and is difficult to recommend in a race that is taken to go to Benjamin.
