      Verdict

Recent Southwell winner Attorney has the assistance of Kieren Fallon but the six-year-old is probably better on the Fibresand than here on the Polytrack and is passed over in favour of Night Cap, who gets the vote over Badou. The last mentioned should appreciate the return to this trip and is again the mount of Darryll Holland, who has ridden the horse in all three starts since winning a similar race on him over course and distance in February. Tim Etherington's Lydia's Look has claims dropping back into this grade and has to be respected along with the likes of Hinchley Wood and Harbour House. However, it is Night Cap who gets the vote. The son of Night Shift showed improved form for being dropped into this grade for the first time over course and distance recently and, provided that the gaps open up in time, he may be good enough to gain an overdue success.
