Verdict

Al Hamdany returned a losing favourite when runner-up over track and trip while stablemate Burcan ran well at Newcastle last time and can race off the same mark today. Gwafa hasn’t raced anywhere since 2016 and that was the year Fire Fighting last won though he’s slipped down the weights since and has his first outing since May. Grand Inquisitor still looks high enough in the weight but LAWLESS SECRET is the least exposed and having run well for third in this grade at Newcastle earlier this month, Simon Crisford’s filly may well improve enough to come out best today.
