Big Timer showed progressive form last term but lack of a recent run and an outing on the Polytrack has to be of some concern so he may be best watched with preference for Hurricane Spirit, who gets the vote over Hinton Admiral. The last mentioned, a Listed race winner over six furlongs, should improve for the extra furlong and has to be considered coming from the in-form yard of Mark Johnston. Stevie Gee showed progressive form last term and would have claims if fit enough for his return. Beauchamp Viceroy looks held in this grade and is deserted by Eddie Ahern in preference for Clive Brittain's Mastership, who is going the right way. Ahern has partnered Cesc in each of his last three starts but his absence may tell backers all they need to know. Si Foo is strictly held by Mastership on running last time, while Cav Okay did not progress as much as may have been anticipated last term and may be best watched on his reappearance. The vote though goes to the progressive Hurricane Spirit, who lost no caste in defeat behind more experienced rivals behind Areyoutalkingtome here last time and he looks well worth another chance judged by that effort.
