Verdict

REMOTELINX sets the standard and is fancied to break his duck at the main expense of Pearl Storm and Zarazar. John Hills' Choisir colt is the horse to beat on his close second to Approve at Salisbury in May, given that the winner Approve then went on to glory at Royal Ascot in the Norfolk Stakes. He handles quick ground and despite his outside draw he is expected to take all the beating. High numbers are normally best on the sprint track here on the grass so the speedy Zarazar is respected from his draw next to the rails especially given two promising runs to date. Pearl Storm is trained by William Haggas (trainer of Approve) and he needs close inspection on debut; his sales price increased at the breeze-up sales and this US-bred fellow's dam is from a quick juvenile family. Acclamazing, a half-brother to juvenile winner Tagula Breeze, and Cheylesmore, a 60,000 guineas relation of Souter's Sister, both need respect especially if the market vibes are positive, whilst Fairy Tales needs this run for a handicap mark. Preference is for Remotelinx.
