      Verdict

A typically competitive sprint in which HOLLOW JO is picked with Peopleton Brook and The Geester respected as the dangers.John Jenkins does have two entered and while our selection is now in double digits as far as age is concerned, he has been a consistent sort at this grade for many a year. Peopleton Brook surprised a few with his win in a claimer. He was taking on some very out of form sorts in that race and paradoxically, this race actually is much tougher. The Geester represents a yard that are in form and his recent run at Southwell's fibresand can be safely overlooked. He reopposes his fellow dead-heater, Elusive Ronnie this afternoon. Grand Palace is capable though very inconsistent. Tanley looked a potential improver earlier in the month when victorious over course and distance. He has been beaten off this mark recently. Smirfys Systems makes his debut for new connections though would have made much more appeal with is if the track would have been Wolverhampton. Bold Diva is making a first run for quite some time. Were there any money for Tony Carroll's mare it should not be dismissed lightly. Hollow Jo appears the most feasible option.
