In depth

Verdict

This is not a particularly strong looking claimer and it is hard to get away from the in-form GLEN LASS, who can win her fifth race on the bounce (all in this grade) with the main dangers rated as Kathindi and Magic Spirit. Stan Moore's filly is less exposed than her rivals after just three starts and she ran well when a length third behind Tuscan King at Wolverhampton earlier this month. David Simcock's Charlottesometimes takes a drop in class so has to be respected but she faces no easy task against this opposition, while Tony Carroll's Better Be Blue has given little sign of encouragement so far. Rufus Roughcut ran better when a close third behind Marosh at Wolverhampton on Monday and any market support for the Stuart Williams-trained colt would be of interest. Stan Moore's Kathindi has been running consistently well in better races than this and he looks the main danger to the selection, Glen Lass.
