Hand Chime is given the nod in this handicap with Night Storm and Greenwood all short listed. A winner on the all weather at Wolverhamton last month when beating Prince Dayjur Hand Chime came back to his best when an eye catching second to Midnight Lace over course and distance last time out. He does have the burden of carrying top weight here but he has earnt it so if producing his best he is sure to go close. Greenwood came good at Windsor on his penultimate run and was touted to do the same over the same track last time out. He didn¿t win that day but put in a good performance to finish a close third. He seems like a horse that might be in a purple patch at the moment so avoid him at your peril. Night Storm scored back to back races at Bath and Brighton during the summer months and might have to pay the consequences for those wins with extra weight to carry. He can run well but things aren¿t getting any easier. So for the winner we return to Hand Chime.
