        Verdict

        In the seller, Pelham Crescent is selected ahead of Linda's Colin and Competitor. Pelham Crescent could be interesting as he would hold good claims on his best 2005 form but has been lightly raced since and he debuts at this level. Linda's Colin also debuts at this level but has recent claiming form that would give him a good shout. Competitor's best recent efforts have come at this level and he too must be seriously considered. Christmas Truce could prove best of the rest but, in a race where the betting should be monitored with interest, Pelham Crescent is the selection.
