      Verdict

      None of these have shown a preference for soft going so a chance is taken on HIORNE TOWER as he made a winning reappearance over course and distance earlier this month and Hector Crouch’s allowance negates most of a 4lb rise. Night Generation was runner-up over track and trip on his penultimate start and Southern States has placed form over 2m on the Polytrack here. Mazalto has slid down the weights in the last year or so but hasn’t looked like taking advantage so far.
