BALLINISKA BAND made a successful bumper debut at Naas in February then landed a Limerick Listed contest in very convincing fashion in April. Both victories were on heavy ground and his trainer will have him ready for his hurdles debut. Panther Soul was a 50/1 winner of his only start on the Polytrack at Dundalk last October and has joined Willie Mullins. He has a jumper's pedigree so his Flat victory will have come as a bonus. Randalls Ur Poet has run eleven times over hurdles and been placed in ten of them. He ran a fine race in a tough handicap here on Tuesday and will find any flaws in the hurdling newcomers jumping. Star Maker, twice a winner on the level, hasn't shown much so far over timber but City Hall, who is by Galileo out of a very well-connected mare, is an interesting newcomer.
