Verdict

Presenting Mahler pops up every now and then, as he did from a 4lb higher mark in this last year. He's perfectly capable of a repeat if in the mood and the ground has come right for him. However, he was behind ACT IN TIME when the latter justified strong support at Killarney last month and runner-up Black Scorpion won a better race than this here during the week. Three Wise Men hasn't won for over a year though is another who has been racing on ground too quick but William Du Berlais is looking high in the weights after completing a double in July.
