In depth

Verdict

Several of these have had their chances including Smiler, who ran a shocker at Limerick after a promising opener behind Railway Zira at Killarney. Tellherimhere has produced her best two runs over longer trips but Castletimon did better at Down Royal a couple of weeks ago after a run over hurdles. King Of Firth has run in a couple of decent bumpers without disgracing himself and he should be thereabouts along with Minella Reception, who has been threatening to win for some time without quite getting there but a chance is taken with BONOBO. He unshipped his rider at the start when well supported on his debut at Galway but showed some potential at Kilbeggan where he didn't get the clearest of runs so it could be a case of third time lucky.
