Verdict

Pumbaa followed a fine effort at Limerick in May with a puzzling run at Galway where he was quickly tailed off. That wasn't his running and he can do better. Holeinthewallbar produced his best run to date behind Rossvos at Galway though that was on very fast ground. OLD KILCASH, a winning point-to-pointer, would probably have made a winning debut over hurdles at Ballinrobe last month but for falling at the last and can gain compensation here. Indian File showed plenty of promise in bumpers and is one to keep an eye on as he makes his hurdling debut.
