Verdict

Pequenita can complete a hat-trick at the expense of Just Wiz, with Margarets Wish and Court Of Justice best of the rest. Pequenita has been in top form in selling company lately, dictating matters at both Taunton and Chepstow under today's pilot Anthony Honeyball. She was a fair middle-distance sort on the Flat when trained by Gary Moore, and the five-year-old, now with Karen George, only has Just Wiz to beat. The latter has turned into a disappointing sort on the all-weather, but the switch to hurdles here at Ludlow last time seemed to have rekindled his enthusiasm. If in the same mood he can go close, but it is hard to see him matching the selection. Of the rest, Margarets Wish is a regular visitor but seems to have gone off the boil, while Court Of Justice needs it more testing to be seen to best effect. In his current form, Pequenita will be hard to pass, and he gets a confident vote.
