Verdict

Only six take to the turf for this Beginners Chase but it should still remain competitive. Alan Swinbank's LITTLE LU gets the verdict and is put forward to score at the main expense of Baren De Doc and Light Yield. The selection hit some of her best form this time last year recording two wins here at Market Rasen. She has made a solid start to her career over fences in two starts at Sedgefield and will be hard to beat. Baron De Doc comes from the in-form yard of Tim Vaughan and is himself in great heart. He ran his best race here when last seen and although meeting stronger resistance today he should make the frame. Light Yield has run respectably in his three chases to date but he did not travel with any fluency last time and looks vulnerable.
