In depth

Verdict

This may not be as competitive as the numbers suggest as most of these struggle to get their head in front. CITRUS MARK had Try Catch Me six lengths away in third when winning at Fontwell just under a year ago. He was the only one to make a race of it with Surf And Turf over 2m4f at Worcester last time and this drop in trip can see him back in the winner's enclosure. Tom O'Tara was second at Newton Abbot last month and has place claims again, though finished behind subsequent Stratford second Full Ov Beans at Worcester earlier. Le Grand Chene had Mister Wiseman behind when winning at Uttoxeter in May but has hardly raised a gallop since so is best watched today while Uncle Pelder may be too high in the weights on his handicap debut.
