Ramvaswani and Three Boars ran decent races last time and should do well here but it is MARIA ANTONIA who is put forward to score. The Alison Thorpe trained selection was claimed out of a Southwell selling hurdle five weeks ago and her new connections have already brought about some improvement. Her last outing (when second in a Uttoxeter handicap hurdle) was encouraging and she looks capable of going one better today. Ramvaswani looks a game sort but is yet to break his duck after 41 attempts. He should be a challenge to the selection here but another runner-up spot looks likely. Three Boars made his handicap debut as a hurdler last time he ran well in third and any natural improvement should see him make the money here. Mycenean Prince has been in good form of late and is generally consistent but has not managed a win in 45 previous starts over hurdles and fences. However on recent evidence it could happen soon. Maria Antonia is our selection but this should be a very competitive encounter and certainly not an easy task for her.
