In depth

Verdict

One can never be confident with some of the field yet to show their hands but all known form points to Miss Carroll. The selection stepped up considerably on the form of her debut to finish third in a similar contest at Worcester last time and a reproduction of that performance would probably suffice here providing that there's nothing out of the ordinary lurking amongst the newcomers. Tom O'Tara made his debut in a competitive race at Aintree and is probably the most interesting of the others with experience whilst Galapagos Island and Timber Dealer make most appeal of those who have yet to be seen in public. The price may not make much appeal but Miss Carroll appeals as the likeliest winner.
