After a couple of wins at Sedgefield, Vic's Last Stand completed her hat-trick at Uttoxeter. But a 7lb higher mark may be enough to end her winning run here facing better opposition. Pink Play was progressing nicely at the start of the year and should figure if fully wound up but Clemency has been pulled up in her last two. Cowslip was beaten 19 lengths off this mark last time at Hexham and needs a stiffer test of stamina but Zara Hope could be interesting as she made a winning start in handicaps at Chepstow in the spring. PEMBA (NAP) was a bit hit-or-miss last season but should stay the extra half-mile this term and looks a decent hurdler when on-song - she may outclass these.
