Verdict

Another tremendously difficult puzzle to unravel but Strumble Head, representing last year's successful yard, is improving and seems sure to run well again. Life Of A Luso reverts back to hurdles but would have unbeaten over fences this season had he not fallen at the last at Stratford last month. The Strawberry One and Red Not Blue appear to have their fair share of weight now, however, while Degas Art and Font may also struggle to get competitive on these terms. Risaala is interesting with Gina Andrews taking off 5lb as she wasn't beaten far over a slightly shorter trip here on her return from a break but we are giving the vote to ZAKATAL. Philip Hobbs' five-year-old has been called some names in the past but has undoubtedly ability and looked to be on much better terms with himself when getting off the mark in this country at Newton Abbot last month. He handled this faster surface on the Flat and could easily embark on a run now he's got his head in front.
