      Verdict

      The costly Expense Claim should make a nice filly in time but faces four previous winners. Coupe De Ville, just touched off on his Goodwood debut, showed the benefit with a smooth victory at Newmarket and will take some beating. Leqqaa may not have beaten much at Leicester but he was very impressive and this half-brother to Zaham can only get better. Letsgoroundagain got the race in the stewards room after just failing to overhaul Campanology at Haydock but this can go to SHAMROCKED, who was well supported to make a winning start at Salisbury and did so with the minimum of fuss, suggesting there was much more to come.
