Verdict

Bardd was still in contention when falling at the last at Huntingdon but is proving difficult to win with. MR KITE doesn’t stand much racing but showed the benefit of a comeback run at Musselburgh when third here in February. A winner on good ground at the Scottish track last year, he’s not badly treated and could be a bit of value. Londonia was in good form around this time last year and will be all the better for his third at Huntingdon. Gran Maestro returns to one of his favourite stomping grounds and Bit Of A Quirke hasn’t run badly on the Flat since a fifth at Uttoxeter. Russian Rascal won easily at Sedgefield earlier this week but this looks tougher.
