In depth

Verdict

DRUID'S DIAMOND makes a quick reappearance after a better effort in a Uttoxeter handicap on Saturday and as that was only his third start over hurdles he can take this with his rider's claim a bonus. Marju's Quest only appears to go well here nowadays but prefers good ground so any further rain would scupper his chances. Morning With Ivan won at Cartmel in June but is another who would be happier on quicker ground while Tell The Tale is flattered by his form figures as he raced in very small fields last winter. Teescomponents Max produced his best performance to date over hurdles at Uttoxeter earlier this month and wouldn't need much more to get into the frame.
