Verdict

Isitcozimcool didn't seem to really progress too much from his first to second runs and it might be worth taking a chance on newcomer ARGENTIA ahead of Eighteen Carat. Lucy Wadham's filly gets plenty of weight from her older rivals and the yard do quite well at the track. This filly is related to several winners, including over this trip, and this daughter of Silver Patriarch may be worth siding with if the market agrees. Donald McCain does well with the horses he sends to the track and Eighteen Carat looks a likely newcomer; his dam is from a very smart family and although he is bred to be a stayer it would be unwise to take his chance lightly. Shayaza and Little Lord West need to improve on what we have seen so far, whilst Witch One is open to more improvement after just one racecourse start. Painters Pleasure is related to some decent German winners and could run well on debut, but it is Argentia who is preferred.
